2 packs (14 ounce) smoked sausage
1 stick butter OR margarine
2 onions, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
10 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 pound baby red potatoes
1 bottle beer (your favorite flavor/ brand)
2 cups bbq sauce (your favorite flavor/ brand)

We cut smoked sausages into coins, and leave them aside……..
In a large saucepan, heat the butter or ghee until it melts…
Add smoked sausage to ghee or margarine, and fry a little for a few minutes or until the sausage turns a little brown …
Then add the chopped onion, red pepper, and minced garlic to a saucepan and fry them for a few minutes, then add the black pepper and chopped red pepper and continue boiling until the vegetables are cooked……..
Add the red potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add your favorite beer, bring everything to a simmer and keep stirring gently, then reduce the heat to medium/high and simmer until about half the amount of beer……. Cook for 20 minutes
Add the BBQ sauce and cook until the vegetables and potatoes are soft and completely covered with the BBQ sauce, stirring occasionally……. Cook until the sauce thickens…….
Serve over hot dogs and enjoy!!!! This dish is very salty, so you can dip some hot dogs in the extra sauce, or serve it over cooked pasta, of your choice
