● 1 kg of potatoes
● 1 kg of chicken (I have half of a whole chicken)
● 200 g sourcream
● 1-2 cloves garlic
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small chunks. Add 100 g of sour cream, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Put the potatoes in a mold (I have a square shape of 25×25 cm). Cut the chicken into several large pieces. Add 100 g of sour cream and garlic, squeezed through a garlic press.
Add salt, pepper, and pepper to taste. Put the chicken on top of the potatoes and leave to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Then pour 1 cup of boiling water into the mold (this is done so that the potatoes are guaranteed to be cooked, and not left raw). You may not need to add water, as some potato varieties can cook without water, but then you may need to increase the cooking time in the oven.
Place in a preheated 200-degree oven. Cook for 60-70 minutes. The dish is ready when the potatoes are cooked. When serving, potatoes with chicken can be decorated with herbs.
